What is Early Orthodontic Treatment
“Early” orthodontic treatment, also called “interceptive” treatment, means treatment that is performed while some baby teeth are still present. Early interceptive treatment, referred to as Phase I, is performed before all the permanent teeth have erupted—often between the ages of 7 and 10.
